After spending 16 years in the Army, Andy learnt his skills in outdoor fitness, gained his personal trainer qualification as well as kettlebells, running, powerbags and many other bolt on courses, however, how to deliver a fresh, fun and challenging class is what Andy has been practicing the most over that time.
After considerable thought and persuasion, Andy decided to open Maidstone Outdoor Fitness Ltd and has been delivering classes for over 10 years. He can't think of a better way of making new friends, having fun and exercising all at once. He absolutley loves being in the park and thrives on members enjoying classes and loves the atmosphere that comes with it. Andy wants to make sure that everyone leaves each class feeling as if they have worked hard, but most importantly, had fun!
MOF is not just a fitness class, it's a community!!
Josh spent time in the Army and has been working in the outdoor fitness industry for over 10 years and loves to work people really hard. He trained as a personal trainer and then moved onto sports massage.
Josh has worked in many different roles within the fitness industry from personal training to managing a crossfit gym. He loves to lift, but also enjoys fixing broken people with his sports massage (think he just enjoys inflicting the pain haha)
He enjoys seeing people exceed in what they thought they couldn't do and thrives on seeing results.
After a few years in the Army, Lucy gained her diploma in personal training & sports massage therapy in 2006 and since then has worked in the fitness industry, doing various roles ranging from fitness instruction to management.
Currently Lucy works as a London firefighter, so loves to help people both in the parks and in her day job!
She has taken numerous amount of outdoor fitness classes and really enjoys seeing people working hard, but enjoying themselves at the same time!
Scott has been in the fitness industry since 2008 and served in the Army as a PTI before becoming a MOF instructor. He loves to see people improve and doing things that they never thought was achievable, from turning up to their first session struggling to run, to running obstacle races and marathons.
Scott is a very keen and quick runner, it is his passion, he loves to push himself and compete in various races, from 10kms to marathons. His best race was Man Vs Horse.
He can often be seen running across the park at a rapid rate, don't worry though, he'll wait for you or come back for you haha.
You'll know when Scott is working in the park, because you can usually hear "Lower, Raise" echoing across the park!
Kush spent time in the Army and is a qualified pesonal trainer and leader in running fitness. He has competed to a high level at various field and track running events and is trained in multi-disciplined combat sports.
He can often be seen running around the streets of Maidstone, although you'll have to be quick to see him!
Joining the MOF team, he enjoys encouraging people to achieve their fitness goals.
Jon has been training with us for years and over the past couple of years has been doing his PT qualifications.
Jon is passionate about fitness and has turned himself around from being overweight to running marathons.
His sessions are always varied and he is super chilled out. Jon will help you out if you are struggling and can usually be seen running up and down the parks.
